I began to suspect I was autistic during lockdown in 2020, and got my official diagnosis in December of 2022. Since then, I’ve been super interested in how autism and other neurodivergences affect our work as actors.

My goal is to develop strategies to support autistic actors, both in training and in the wider industries, and figure out which practices and approaches to acting are most suited to us. This is a really new area, and I can’t do it alone! I’d love to connect with other autistic actors, to share experiences and pass on info and research that may be helpful. I may also be needing participants for research as part of my Masters studies in Actor Training and Coaching at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

If you’d like to be involved, please sign up for the mailing list below. There won’t be a lot of emails (mostly because executive function is hard, y’all!), but I plan to send occasional newsletters with updates on my research, invitations to participate, interesting or helpful articles/books/websites and whatever else I think you may want to know!

Let’s make acting more inclusive and neuro-friendly for everyone!
