“Kira is our resident voice teacher for Caspa Arts Acting School. Here she trains a range of actors, all at different ages and experiences. The best thing about Kira is that she’s both personable and knowledgable. When I first began voice lessons at drama school I was always too scared to say if I didn’t understand what was supposed to be happening in my body, but Kira creates a safe environment and has this great attention to detail to make sure every student is benefitting from each exercise. If someone in the class has something specific that they need to work on, she knows lots of exercises and tips & tricks to help them with their problem area - be this diction, tension or anything else! I love working with Kira and have even booked onto her classes to keep on top of my own training as part of my professional career”
“I want to recommend you my amazing singing teacher Kira Morsley! Kira is truly passionate about singing, teaching it and is a wonderful singer herself! I was really struggling to find a right tutor for almost 2 years and I cannot tell you how grateful I am that I finally found her! With her the whole mechanism of singing finally started to make sense to me!! Kira is a wonderful teacher who really cares for her students and you know you can ask her anything (however weird or stupid that question may be) and know that you’ll always get only support, clarity and answers. And even though I’ve started taking classes with her recently I already started to see a real progress without tension or confusion which I had with other tutors. Kira is warm, patient and with her you feel you are in safe hands - she is that professional! So if you are still thinking whether to take a class or not just try and see the progress yourself!”
“Thank you for your very helpful sessions! I’m doing more of your exercises than the ones I learnt in drama school. And I’ve noticed that I feel comfortable in standing with my legs in line with my hips. The school replied to me, and I got a place! So thank you very much for what you did in those two sessions!”
“Over the last three months, Kira has been key to enabling me to increase vocal stamina and overcome voice tiredness following a minor vocal cord operation late last year. Through sharing her deep understanding, techniques and real practical exercises, Kira has helped me to improve upon my posture, reduce vocal fatigue and slowly increase my own awareness of how my voice is working. Through Kira’s coaching I have already experienced notable results evidenced by my increased vocal resilience & quality, week by week. Kira demonstrates an obvious passion for the science of the voice and this shows in her detailed approach to teaching, always supported by theory and explanation. Initially I was hesitant to due to feeling self conscious, given I’m by no means in the performing arts space, however Kira’s supportive and empathic nature put me at immediate ease. Where some techniques have been more challenging for me to understand, Kira has been able to break them down and build up from the basics, simplifying the steps until it all made sense. Kira is an engaging teacher, able to create a relaxed, fun and comfortable atmosphere to learn new things, try new techniques and ultimately teach me to take better care of my voice. I’m grateful to have found someone so knowledgeable and I look forward to seeing what the next lesson brings.”
“Although I’ve sung professionally before, my experience of vocal training was very limited. Working with Kira has helped me to understand how my body works and is connected to my voice. Kira has made me feel not only like a better vocalist, but also more confident, calm and knowledgeable in how to safely and productively use my voice. Anytime I have an audition, I will go to Kira- I doubt that I would be working wi my voice right now without her help! Also, she is just the most lovely, sound human being - exactly who you’d like for a teacher.”
